Nosey azz people getting in the damn way... Also never sawl a fire...
The building burnt down to the ground time you guys got there now you have to stop and get fuel for the ride home
Just keep going to ocean City almost there
I hope the city sends the bill from that response to the prank caller.
Did 74 get a new siren???
Never did see what was on fire
The house still. Standing?
Liked, subscribed and shared your video and your channel
Thank you very much Neil!
@@SpeedbirdFF You're welcome mate 👍🏻
Tanker trucks?? How can any jurisdiction allow a development that size to be built with no fire hydrants? Ridiculous.
Glad they weren't first due in!
Hell did they book a flight
32 minutes of Federal Q blaring, but no on scene coverage of fire fighting.
Cant beleive they cover that size of area. Get some more stations built
We are 6th due. Thanks for watching!
its always funny to see how vollies think ballin rigs make them better at putting out fires and running the calls.
I missed the part where we made that statement. Thank you for watching!
Being a x volunteer firefighter we had 3 fire stations our arrival time was 2 to4 minutes any department all volunteers including volunteer ambulance service
Thank you because I was about to lay into them and well you did it NICE CORRECTLY AND PROFESSIONAL……I’m less tactful if it hits me on JUST the right date and well after the last 2 weeks we have had let’s just say I was about to unload and offer whoever that was to come take up a spot at our “VOLLY” house 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 but for the record all but 3 in our “VOLLY” house does this FT and our Chief is a FT Battalion Chief of a major city in the same county and has over 40 years experience and 3rd generation and teaches at our academy. We have one of the best stations there is because we know how to apply for all the grants and fund raise and train some up and comers even better than if they worked for a city. Yes many do make others look bad (BUT ISNT THAT IN ANY PROFESSION??????) just asking
Wow now you know why it turned into a 3 alarm fire they need to stop for fuel and lunch
You people need to elect better decision makers. There has got to be back-up and another fire station closer.
We are 6th due there. Thank you for watching!
Why do you not have fire stations closer ? By the time help arrives you're dead.
Multiple fire stations are closer and were on-scene. We are 6th due. Thanks for watching!
I lost my great uncle who was passed away 3 years ago used to be fire chief as firefighter
Thanks for watching Eric!
As always excellent outstanding brilliant outstanding they deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the paramedics and firemen who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks great job great team work and great and sweet catches as usual still going strong great team efforts are deeply appreciated thanks lets stop and hope everyone is doing ok right wonder what the couse was stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well much love and respect and appreciation job well done you should be proud very impressed way to go !!! Joe
Damn you can eat lunch and get ready all before you get there.
ngl I'm annoyed that they don't leave the power call on the entire time they are driving. The Q is great, but when it winds down it's ineffective.
Actually, the Q is ineffective when you keep it wound up. Proper use is to wind it up for a second or 2 and let it wind down a bit. Then repeat.
Ne Weltreise ist nix dagegen 🥸
Engineer: Engine 741 arrival. Nothing showing. Dispatcher: Arrival?...Where? Engineer: 741 arrival Salisbury 3rd alarm mutual aid. Dispatcher: Salisbury? That was last week! Engineer: Yeah, we had to stop for fuel a couple of times. Dispatcher: E741, Where in Salisbury are you? Engineer: At the 3rd alarm! I guess we're first in. Dispatcher: First in?...Where in Salisbury??? Engineer: Salisbury North Carolina! What, are you stupid?
3 alarm? Lol
Awesome response
Thank you for watching!
Okay on the report of the house fire it should have been reported who was on scene as the Engine you reported being dispatched, and then to find out their was already a response on scene, guess you left that out
Okay me being a Retired Firefighter I have to voice my opinion. Firstly, why isn't there a closer firehouse? If the fire district is that wide spread there should be closer fire houses? Response time taking this long is unacceptable, and where is the response of a fire chief? It almost seems like it's in another county for this response?
This was not the first due units. They are on the initial box alarm there are 4 stations that are closer than Delmar is. That side of the county is quite rural as well.
Our station is 6th due. Thanks for watching!
😮😮 long travel for mutual aide 😢
Around here I have heard the neighboring county dispatch multiple units 30+ miles.
Can we see pov response off Command 71 please
Working on that! Thanks for watching!
😊👍👨🚒🚒🚑🚨📷📸
Cool video!
Thank you for watching!
Damn, any farther and they would’ve had to stop for fuel
😮😮😮 Exactly
So wild! I couldn’t believe the amount of miles to get there coming from the covered station! Great footage though!!
Took him too long to get there to get a save eight minutes or had to be a closer station
That's not the first due company, dodo brain.
Yes, there are multiple closer stations. We are 6th due.
Took him too long to get there to get a save
Wonder what the monthly fire insurance premium would be on those homes when the insurance company calculates premiums based on distance from nearest fire hydrant and also distance to nearest fire station.
What are you talking about? Sure, the third alarm was the 25 minute drive but likely first do engine was there within seven minutes and by the time this engine got there the fire was pretty much completely out.
Much of that road you could do without the Q. For the film I guess.
Better for them to be heard, than for them to get hit
They have a primary siren for a reason most places don't use them an just use the q which could open them up for lawsuit
Aside from what Hosedragger said, some states require one siren be on at all times to prevent anyone from being hit.
@@chrisboek2346 Exactly my thoughts. I hated that the first POV engine we saw only use its power call once, and never again. That siren should have been on the ENTIRE time they were in motion.
Merely a suggestion: at all cost don't film into the wind. Audio becomes muffled.
Ah yes, next time they will reverse onto the scene so that you don't get upset by wind. l
Man that q in the ladder sounds old snd robotic
hi speedbirdff what was the siren for
The county never thinks about emergency services when they approve all this building.
It appears that they were called for mutual aid in the first run.
@@TomE74 yes is was mutual aid but the same problem still exists rather it's mutual aid or not.
They would jf it affected them
Good to see a driver who follows the siren laws even at night
I bet it was early hours of the morning 😊😂😂
Nope, around 8:30-9pm
It’s probably something that has to do with the fabric softener sheets dust overtime if you don’t clean out the dryers a fire could possibly spark up if it’s being used so many times with fabric softener dust or lint.
I live less than a mile from this laundry mat stop going it had issues sad to see it burn though. Not question the way you got there. I was surprised at the Exxon you did not make right and go to 4 way stop on Naylor Mill Rd to Rt 50 E to first stop light make right. Great work thanks
Could be several reasons for the route they took, could be that the IC directed the route to be taken, due to hoses and apparatus blocking the way you suggested..
i meant off bistate where the turned left at 2:44
How old is that q siren
It’s not that it’s old . They use it more for a show on video when there’s no traffic or confirmed fire with entrapment . So why not show the true self and definition of a wacker .
does this fire department still have the old method of alerting volunteers of a call by using a big old alarm and having it sound across the township
Yes there is "house siren" still in use.
Love to see Charles running still
As a Former Fairdale (Kentucky) Firefighter we would keep our Emergency Lights on until we cleared the scene and we are ready to clear the air.
The second rescue/engine was probably recalled as they arrive and were already clear of the incident that’s why the lights were off
Nice video, keep up the good work. I like the paint on former FDNY Engine 83 honoring those lost during the 9/11 attacks. Was the Federal Signal 3t22 also sounding for calls after it sounded for the start of the parade because I could hear it going off even when the parade was going on.
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure about that siren, this was my first visit to this event.
